Batteries are one of those things that you usually do not want to skimp on. We never hear anyone complaining that they get too much range from a charge. This is why we recommend getting the biggest battery you can afford.

Biktrix is proud to offer some of the largest ebike batteries on the market. Even when you pick our smallest battery option, it is often much larger than the largest offered by our competitors.

A good way to estimate approximate ride time is as follows:

  1. Calculate/check the Wh (Watt-hour) rating of the battery. This is V x Ah. Eg. 52V x 10Ah = 520Wh
  2. Check the wattage of the motor on the bike you’re considering. Eg. 500W
  3. This means that if you had to use this 500W bike at full power with a 520Wh battery, you would get roughly 520Wh/500W = ~1hour of riding.

[Batteries are like energy tanks on an eBike. Using our high capacity automotive-grade cell Battery Packs ensures that you can travel longer distances without the need for frequent recharges. Since batteries take time to recharge, buying the largest capacity that you can afford would be the best idea.

An eBike battery is usually specced using Voltage & Amp-hours (V&Ah), therefore while comparing specs between the two batteries with the same voltage rating compare the Ah (Amp-hour) rating between them, since more Ah = more capacity.

While buying a DUO bike we highly recommend not missing the opportunity of buying a Range Extender which also functions as a Standby Spare in case the primary battery is not charged or fails.]

Note that you likely won’t be using 100% power (500W) all the time, this means you would get more range if you use lesser power.

The stock headlights on Biktrix eBike's work great and allow the rider to be seen. If you plan on riding after dusk however, we highly recommend upgrading to an Armageddon headlight which turns night into day for riding. This is particularly handy for anyone who commutes in the evenings or rides off road in places not well lit.

Suspension seatposts offer great riding comfort as they absorb many of the imperfections on the road/trail.

***Adding a suspension seatpost to your eBike will increase the minimum seatpost height by 75mm/3" to 150mm/6"

In most places, 500w (32kmph/20mph) is the street-legal setting and for many casual riders is lots of power to get you where you are going.

Inclusions

This package can be purchased within 30 Days from the date of delivery or while placing the eBike order whichever is earlier. BiktrixCare+ will cover the following list of eBike parts for manufacturing defects under the respective packages. BiktrixCare+ Gold is transferable once from the original buyer to another person subject to notifying the transfer of ownership to BEB.

*Motors

BEB will request to ship the motor to the Service Centre if the defect is fixable. Labour and parts cost is included in the motor service at BEB’s Service Centre. If the defect is unfixable BEB will issue a refurbished replacement. Shipping charges are excluded for the motor service. For Hub-Motors the maximum liability is the cost of the motor.

**Cancellation & Refund

BiktrixCare+ alone cannot be cancelled or refunded once the bike has been shipped. If the bike is returned under the first 14-day return window for a refund, 100% of the amount paid for this package would be refunded. If BEB decides to sever all relations with an owner under Section 19 this package would be deemed terminated with no refund

Bike okay - pre-assembly not so much

The bikes arrived (Stunner series) on time and with no issue. Until I went to assemble the remaining parts of the bike. The ST6 went fine. No problem.

But the SO6 was a different matter. It started out with the pedals. It appears they must have been dropped on a concrete floor as the threads were damaged. I was able, since I have a full metal shop, to fix the threads by re tapping them.

I went over the entire bike for loose bolts etc and all seemed fine. I did not check the bolt for the stand as the bike was leaning on it. Then, yesterday (June 28) I noticed the stand appeared loose. I had not noticed before as I will put the stand up and put it down. So of course there was movement. But this was not the case.

Whomever, at Biktrix, who put it together had cross threaded it in. When I finally (after much effort) was able to get the bolt out there was metal debris from the cross threading on the bolt and on the threads on the stand portion. I had to clean both of them off, then carefully re-thread both the bolt and the threads on the stand. Now the bolt could be manually threaded into the stand. Re-assembly was fine. But this should not have happened. Whomever put it together could not have missed the fact it was very very hard to turn when tightening and was loose after installation.

The bikes work fine. Are fun to ride and now function as expected. But I did go fully over both bikes again checking every single last nut and both for cross threading, improper installation etc.

I was finally able to take a ride and it was quite enjoyable. There is alot of power and it was fantastic going up hills.

I was able to put the bike together with no major issues. My wife and I went right out on a ride and had the best time. We are in our late 50's and feeling like teen agers again lol :)

Customer service and the bike SUCK

The ebike front fork fell off right out of the box. The bike is broke and is unrideable. Front fork pulls apart and wobbles making it unrideable. Customer service is offering a 40% for a new front fork on a bike that was sent already broken before I recieved it. I would like to sent the bike back for a full refund.

Solid construction bike with plenty of power

I went deep down the rabbit hole researching every electric bike under the sun. After countless reviews I found one that was comparing bikes going up hills. To my surprise not very many were able to do this easily. That's when I started realizing the benefits of a mid-drive versus a hub Drive. Although there was some fear around it wearing down the gear shifters. So when I found this bike had an internal mechanism that was less prone to needing tune-ups I found it quite the happy medium. Plus I am 6 ft 2 so looking for a decent size bike I could set up straight on. Ordering a bike online without writing it is quite scary to say the least. When I got in the mail it was quite easy to put together. The ride is quite Pleasant, I am able to set up right, and feel confident the bike will hold up together. As a comparison I got my wife a $1,000 bike off of Amazon to save a little bit of money. The comparison of this bike and that is not even in the same ballpark. Well worth the extra money to get a high quality bike. Oh also make sure you get the shock absorber seat it is well worth the money.

Stunner 6 step thru purchase

I am very pleased with my 2 stunner 6 step through bikes.They are great bikes. However, I must tell you the "stock" seats that came with the bikes are awful. They are very uncomfortable. Maybe the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat on. They are a disservice to the bike. However, I do commend your companies response when I reported this issue. Your company is forwarding 2 replacement seats. I have not yet received them, but they have to be an improvement over the stock seats. The only other issue I have encountered, is the inability to register the warranty on one of my 2 bikes. I received a warranty certificate on one bike, but despite my effort to register the 2nd bike, I have not received the certificate on the 2nd bike. Im not sure what is going on there.
