Made from end-of-life water cooler bottles, the FLASCHEGUARD™ fenders are not only environmentally friendly but also use up to 75% less crude oil than virgin polycarbonate. By using this material, we are able to avoid almost a tonne of CO2 emissions for every tonne of FLASCHEGUARD™ material produced, while also keeping end-of-life plastic out of landfills or incinerators. The attractive matte finish of these fenders gives them the look of alloy fenders, without any of the drawbacks. With dramatically increased length, these fenders solve the problem of your feet getting wet up front and your gear (and riding partner) getting wet out back.
