Overview

Powerful eBikes need powerful brakes. The Tektro Dorado E725 Brake Set provides superior stopping ability with the use of its 4-piston, hydraulic disc design. These are premium upgrades that allow for powerful, controllable braking with a reputation for easy installation and maintenance.

Specifically designed for eMTBs, this system features a switch in the brake lever with a Bafang HIGO connector which activates the brake light before deceleration begins and controls the motor cut-out for maximum safety.

Huge improvement

For those of you with heavy E-bikes that are using mechanical disk brakes, I HIGHLY recommend making the upgrade to these Tektro Dorado E725 brakes. Install was simple, even for someone without much bike mechanic experience, and the stopping power far exceeds what I was expecting. Worth every penny.

Sedative in hardware form

So far so good. I live in an area with steep and long hills. I have not bothered to figure out the physics of a 70lb bike with a 200lb rider traveling 30mph down a 19% grade hill, but I know it was enough to smoke my single puck disk brakes. The increased surface area on the 725 pads help me to be a bit less tense on the way down.. Roshan/Biktrix got the brakes to me quickly and all hardware was included. Thanks guys !

Great stopping power

Added these as an upgrade to my Juggernaut Ultra. Vastly superior to the mechanical disk brakes on my old bike! A must when flying down hill at 40 mph on a 70lb bike!

Tektro E725 - only place in North America

First off, Roshan and team are the guys to work with. I built a custom bike from a Yuba Mundo Lux. Strapped a Bafang BBSHD to it and the stock brakes couldn't handle the force needed to stop me and my kids.

Doing a bit of research, I wanted integrated sensor cables to make sure everything thing worked, everytime over the magnets and tape method.

Found biktrix online and reached out via chat to make sure I was getting the right parts. They asked for pictures to make sure I bought the right mounts (IS) for my bike. A step above what I was expecting.

Received the parts and installed them. One rotor was bent and reached out and they sent a replacement. No hassle, just "we understand, it's on its way."

Great customer service, shipping was fast international, I would buy from them again. And now I have confidence that my bike can, and will stop with out shaking now that I have better brakes.
